How Payments Work at Sigma
Banks and processors treat research materials as a restricted category, so we offer three payment options. All payments are subject to authorization by your bank or card issuer.
At a glance
- Same-Day Bank Payment (via Link Money), recommended: Pay from your U.S. checking account and save 3%. Available in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
- Credit/Debit Card (via AuxPay): Pay by card on a secure hosted checkout.
- Visa (via Revion Caps): Pay by Visa on a secure page hosted by Revion Caps, the merchant of record for these payments.
- Same-Day Bank Payment and AuxPay card payments appear on your statement as Sigma. Revion Caps payments appear on your statement as Revion Caps.
- No card or bank login details are stored by Sigma. Payments are handled by our PCI-compliant payment partners.
Same-Day Bank Payment (via Link Money)
Select Same-Day Bank Payment at checkout and click "Place order". You will be redirected to Link Money to sign in to your bank and approve the payment. First-time users complete a short verification. Your bank login is never shared with Sigma.
- Checking accounts only. Savings accounts are not supported.
- The 3% discount is applied automatically at checkout.
- Orders under $750 approved before 2:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) ship the same business day.
- Orders of $750 or more may need 1 to 2 business days for the payment to settle before shipping.
- Payments made on weekends or bank holidays are authorized right away, but settlement may happen on the next business day.
- Make sure you have sufficient funds. Payments without sufficient funds will be declined.
Credit/Debit Card (via AuxPay)
Select Card Payment at checkout and click "Place order". You will be redirected to a secure hosted checkout to enter your card details. 3-D Secure verification may be required.
Your first payment may be declined by your bank because of the merchant category. If that happens, contact your bank to authorize the payment and try again, or use Same-Day Bank Payment.
Visa (via Revion Caps)
Select Pay with Revion Caps at checkout. You will be redirected to revioncaps.com to complete the payment by Visa. Revion Caps is the merchant of record for these payments.

Which payment method should I use?
Same-Day Bank Payment is usually the fastest option and saves you 3%. Card payments are also available.
My card was declined. What do I do?
Contact your bank or card issuer and ask them to authorize the payment, then try again. You can also switch to Same-Day Bank Payment.
Can I pay from Puerto Rico?
Yes. Same-Day Bank Payment and card payments are available for Puerto Rico orders.
Can I use a savings account for Same-Day Bank Payment?
No. Same-Day Bank Payment requires a U.S. checking account.
What if I still have trouble paying?
Email [email protected] with a screenshot of the error (do not show your full card number) and your order number if you have one.
